Super Audio Productions Opens for Business in US

Dawn Frank, one of North America’s most experienced Super Audio CD production engineers has establishment of Super Audio Productions (SAP). SAP aims to provide a sophisticated blend of Super Audio CD production services, including DSD recording, DSD conversion (using the Philips Audio Format Converter), trellis re-modulation, editing (using Sonoma, Pyramix or Sadie workstations) and mastering services.

“Our aim is to provide a full range of DSD services including Super Audio CD Edit Masters or Authored Masters,” commented Dawn Frank. “SAP offers a potent blend of customer service, superior workmanship and the most technologically advanced tools.”

Frank’s new enterprise comes off the back of one of the most accomplished Super Audio CD track records in North America. An established audio engineer at Sony Music
Studios working for Sony Classical where she had first worked with Super Audio CD in 1998, Dawn was recruited to work with Sony’s Super Audio CD North American project
team in 2000. Working with the team, she has contributed to a long list of high profile recording and re-mastering projects.

“Working on the project team I identified a clear niche for high quality, low cost SA-CD production services,” explained Frank. “I have all the knowledge and equipment in my
